The interior is a major reason for the Islander 32's popularity: spaciousness, comfort and ample storage throughout. The finish is classic late 1970's dark teak but the workmanship is first rate!
A very wide and comfortable companionway with 3 steps down, sets you into a beautiful warm and welcoming salon with ample windows and ports for great light and air. To port is a "L" shaped galley with a long port settee. To starboard is a fold-away dinette table against the forward bulkhead. Expanding out to serve dinette seating along the starboard salon. Starboard of the companionway is quarter berth with custom nav table built above which can removed. Moving forward from the salon is a hanging locker to port and a head adjacent to starboard. Forward is a very large V-berth with storage below.
