If you know Islanders, then you know how beautifully they sail and how comfortably they cruise! The I36 is a fun and fast boat in most wind conditions, easy to sail single-handed, and offers plenty of space for a single person or a couple for full-time cruising. Easy to handle and manages heavy air and big swells with ease, they are a good compromise between being light enough to sail well and heavy enough to be safe and solid.
Designed by naval architect Alan Gurney, she may be the perfect combination of competitive performance, cruising reliability and comfort. Not only does she looks beautiful in the water, but is blast to sail and easy to maintain. She has proven herself to be a classic in her own time.
