Description
Once upon a time, yacht broker Jack Kelly challenged race boat designer Doug Peterson to create a comfortable cruising sailboat without compromising excellent sailing performance. That was the origin of the legendary Kelly Peterson 44; a center-cockpit, cutter-rigged sloop, blue-water cruiser.
Top Cider has been with her current onwers for 7 years and they have worked to increase her sailing performance as well as her comfort. In their first 8 months they prepared her for her first cruising season with some major projects:
Bottom peel with epoxy barrier coat.
Replaced all through-hulls.
Replaced AC and DC electrical panels.
Replaced rudder.
Replaced prop shaft and pillow block.
