Planking is 1 - 1/8" x 5" spiled mahogany bronze screwed to 1 - 3/4" x 3 - 1/2" bent Ipol (Eastern white oak) frames on 10" centers. Stem, sternpost and horn timber are 9 - 1/2" Ipol. Keel bolts and stern doubler bolts are galvanized iron as are floor/frame, stinger and clamp/shelf bolts. Floors are 2 - 1/2" mahogany and 3 - 3/4" Ipol in way of keel bolts. Ballast is external cast iron. Sheer clamp is 1 - 1/2" x 5" and shelf is 1 - 3/4" x 4" mahogany. Bilge stringers are 1 - 3/4" x 2 - 1/2" mahogany. Deck is FRP over plywood on 2 - 1/2" x 4" sawn Ipol and marine plywood, marine plywood soles.
Accommodations
Enter the pilothouse from swinging doors with sliding hatches port or stbd. The only helm is fwd to stbd and a
settee is aft to stbd. Access to the engine is under the pilothouse sole. Down fwd, the galley is to port. Opposite to stbd is a dinette. The main mast steps at the fwd end of the dinette. Fwd to stbd is an enlosed head with a manual head and sink. Opposite are storage lockers. All the way fwd is a double cabin with split V-berth, down from the pilothouse aft is the master cabin with large single berths port and stb. En-suite head with sink and shower stall.
